Meals on Wheels Chicago is committed to the belief that all individuals have the right to live independently with dignity in their own homes. Through monetary grants to our two City of Chicago agencies, it is our hope to reduce the number of home-bound seniors and individuals with disabilities in need. While the programs we help to support are vastly different, they share the same common goal: to give individuals the ability to remain in their own home.

Celebrity Chef Ball

The 23rd Annual Celebrity Chef Ball will again be held on the 9th Floor of Macy's on State Street, providing a unique experience for our guests. The Chef's Tasting Party, a dine-around reception-style experience, provides guests with a high energy, informal tasting experience. The VIP Chef's Table will be available on a limited basis for guests wishing to enjoy a more intimate dinner experience prior to the main tasting.

In our two-tier format, the event will feature 60-70 top chefs and 12 mixologists from throughout Chicago and around the country. Past participants have included chefs from Blackbird, Graham Elliot, Takashi, Primehouse, Vie, Girl & the Goat, Coco Pazzo, Heaven on Seven, and Piccolo Sogno.

All guests will have the opportunity to mingle together to enjoy dessert stations, a silent auction, and lively casino gaming. Dance the night away as Rock Candy performs your favorite hits and our FIJI Water Chef DJ spins the hottest tunes. Celebrity Chef Ball continually attracts Chicago's most socially astute consumers.

Omnivores, herbivores, come one, come all. The event promises to be an early Thanksgiving, where those in a position to give can share their wealth and dine among friends and strangers alike. And no one will mind if you use your hands. - Examiner
